General information

The School Every year about 100 students are allowed entry to the programmes offered by the Hotel and Restaurant School of Åland.
Most of the students come from Åland but also from Finland and Sweden,
and from other parts of the world.
Our web pages give an indication of the range and quality of the School's
activities.

Swedish

The language of instruction is Swedish. If you are interested in attending our courses you have to speak, read and write Swedish fluently.

Work placements abroad

Through membership in the European Association of Hotel and Tourism Schools (AEHT), we can offer our students participation in international competitions and business seminars.
The School maintains strong links with establishments abroad in order to arrange work placements for the students. The programme provides both work practice ashore and at sea,
and professional studies for the business.

Admission
